OOTN // WEDDING VIBES

Here's an outfit of the night for the evening of a Wedding.

I may have taken the scissors to the hem of the dress... There was a longer layer of lace around the very bottom. As I'm only 5ft2 this just didn't look right on me, but i loved the general look of the outfit.

The dress is from Pretty Little Thing - £35

The Black heels are from ASOS - £40

The black clutch is a few years old, but was from New Look

Perfect Summer Dress

Summer clothing is something that i struggle with every year. By the time Autumn rolls around I'm SO ready for chunky knits, jeans and boots.
Instead of purchasing summer shorts and skirts this year that are a little out of my comfort zone, i decided to purchase a couple of simple style dresses that i know i will get my wear out of but still look and feel good in.
I purchased the dress below in the floral print as seen, and in a muted pink/dusky pink shade. So far i have got so much use out of both of the dresses, i find them so easy to wear during the day as they are made out 100% cotton so they are so breathable and comfortable in the summer heat.

Summer Go-To Shirt Dress

I've been living in this striped beach dress throughout my travels in Australia. In the evenings it's the perfect dress to throw on as it still light and airy but just enough as the sunsets and it gets cooler.

It's currently summer in Australia so during the day it would be too hot to wear, but it's ideal for an evening stroll on the beach, out to dinner or a late night trip to the ice creamery!

I bought the dress from New Look last summer. If it's not available I'm sure they do the same dress in a different print, or there will be loads out there from different shops. It was inexpensive (under £20) but really well made and the quality feels amazing.

I tend to roll the sleeves up a couple of times for a casual look, but they are full length so either would look good. I wear the dress with the top few buttons open. There's a draw string in the middle that looks great done up slightly, or loose.
